Thinking of getting married?

You've made the committment....

Now don't be half-hearted!

We would say that 99% of our clients wait to make Wills until after they have got married.

Now that is an odd thing because you have already committed yourself to your partner. You have probably already started to rely on each other in ways that are difficult to fully understand.

The fact is that if one of you died before ‘the big day’ then the survivor will be left high and dry. Bills to pay, liabilities to meet and possibly mortgages to settle.

The thought of losing your partner before even getting married is a horrible thought but the reality is that ignoring it could be even worse.

Making a Will in contemplation of marriage is simple and the document can continue to remain in force even after the marriage.

This is an expensive time for you and so we offer all couples who have named the wedding day a 20% discount off our standard rate for Wills for couples getting married. Look at it as a wedding present especially from us.

We offer fixed-fee Will writing for couples who have named the day of £220.00 (including VAT) [compared to £275.00].

If you think some people might not take too kindly to your decisions and try to contest your Will, you might be interested in The Vital Testimony. While this will add to the cost it should avoid your beneficiaries paying thousands of pounds to lawyers in the future.
