Will making for single people.
As a single person, making a Will is very important.
The Rules of Intestacy decide who gets what when you die if you have not made a Will.
You can click here for a table of the rules so you may determine for yourself whether the right people will receive your estate.
If you do not like the idea of the law deciding who receives your hard-earned assets then you should think about making a Will.
You can then decide:-
- who is legally responsible for handling your estate,
- who receives your personal belongings,
- whether any cash legacies should pass to friends, relatives or charities, and
- how the remainder of your estate passes and in what shares.
We offer fixed fee Will making service for individuals of £140.00 including VAT.
If you think some people might not take too kindly to your decisions and try to contest your Will, you might be interested in The Vital Testimony. While this will add to the cost it should avoid your beneficiairies paying thousands of pounds to lawyers in the future.
